The Schlitt Family has offered professional real estate services for three generations. Ed and Marguerite Schlitt opened Ed Schlitt Real Estate in 1953 serving Vero Beach, Florida. They were joined by their daughter, Linda Schlitt Gonzalez in 1972 and by their son, Steven Schlitt, in 1998. Linda’s son, Andrew, and her daughter Melanie have joined the firm. In 2013 they were joined by their sister Barbara Schlitt Ford who serves as Chief Operations Officer, and director of Legal and HR.
Following the tradition of their parents, Linda Schlitt Gonzalez and Steven Schlitt presently co-own the company. They have grown the company into nine offices covering over 100 miles along Florida’s east coast. Now known as Coldwell Banker Paradise, the company has a sales force of 225 sales associates and 48 staff to meet real estate needs for Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, South Hutchinson Island, North Hutchinson Island, Vero Beach, Sebastian, and Melbourne, Florida.

Brian Lemen, Manager, Port St. Lucie, Ft. Pierce, Ocean Village and S. Hutchinson Island, Relocation Manager
Brian started his real estate career in Kansas in 1996. The past 19 years have helped him develop into the sales manager he is today. Brian moved to Florida in 2006 as sales manager for Hoyt C. Murphy at the Port St. Lucie office. Through hard work and determination his office was one of the top independent offices on the Treasure Coast. Brian has become a trainer and mentor for agents who have achieved enormous success. For the past couple of years after the merger with Coldwell Banker Paradise, Brian has continued to manage the Port St. Lucie office with great success. Over this time period, he has added REO Manager and Relocation Director to his list of duties.
Sharon Murbarger, Manager, N. Hutchinson Island, Island Previews and Vero U.S. 1
Sharon has her Florida broker’s license — she has a huge passion for real estate and loves to assist people any way she can. In addition, Sharon is a licensed broker in Charleston, South Carolina where she had a successful career as the Sales and Marketing Director for Centex Homes. She is happily married to Father Jason Murbarger, an Episcopalian Priest at Trinity Episcopal Church and she has two sons: Jarrod and Jordan who both live in Vero Beach.
Jerry Sider, Manager, Sebastian, Melbourne
Jerry Sider, newly appointed manager to Coldwell Banker Paradise in Sebastian and Melbourne was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from South Illinois University and was the owner of a jewelry store in Chicago for 25 years. Jerry was also the Executive Director of the downtown Chicago business association. Jerry has been working in the real estate industry for the past 12 years. He started his career with Coldwell Banker Chicago and earned Rookie of the Year. Jerry has his broker’s license in four states, including Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Florida. His most recent position was managing broker for the Berkshire Hathaway in Pittsburgh.
Patricia has sold millions of dollars of real estate on the mainland and beachside since becoming a realtor in 2004. Her extensive inventory of listings was developed from many referrals of satisfied clients. A consistent Top Producer, Patricia chose to enter management to train new and established RE agent’s in income producing techniques, and to recruit professionals interested in becoming top real estate professionals. Patricia is delighted to be home in Vero Beach and rejoin her real estate “family” at CBP as the new Director of Sales Training. She will coordinate and oversee the most comprehensive and hands-on educational program on the Treasure Coast for newly licensed agents and those seeking a return to Real Estate or to enhance their income.
